Clergy
Clergy are constantly challenged to find the time and the energy to meet the
needs of their cause and the people they serve.
Not least of these challenges
is the regular preparation of sermons and homilies which enhance the spiritual
growth of their listeners.

Congregants and potential church members have become accustomed, in their
every day lives, to a more sophisticated level of presentations. They "tune
out" presentations which do not keep their attention. Mentally, they change the channel. Homilies and sermons, today, are
often judged by the same criteria as entertainment media; and, with the same result.
You don't need more challenge.
Our site offers you a variety of techniques and
content inputs to help you keep your congregants' attention; and, possibly, even
accept the next step in faith you are offering.
How can you most effectively use our site?
First take the tour for samples of the main site.
Start with the Pizzazz section. - Because most of your teachings are firmly
rooted in history, your can re-enforce their messages by mentioning a
contemporary quote or an analogy which offers the same advice.
- Or, search for
other quotes and sayings which crystallize some of your own thoughts.
Then, package your most important ideas in language structures which convince
your listeners. Check our Persuaders section for a number of techniques to help
you effectively demonstrate your beliefs.
Of special importance, both for sermons, and, for those times when you must
address community groups, or, for example, the youth in your church:
- area
on the main site in Coach's Corner called Audience Focused Communication.
- It outlines what
causes various groups of listeners to react negatively,...or, to respond positively.
Response is what we all seek in our presentations. Once you've toured the areas
we have recommended, browse the rest of the site to find areas which will
enhance your personal approach, and, your congregants' overall response.
